Attention (너만 있으면 돼): Well, I don't know about anyone else, but that intro made feel REALLY pumped. I am ready for anything! Especially for an anime! Since this song, for whatever reason, makes me think of an anime intro. Oh man, this song just doesn't stop. It's a roller coaster of sound--some parts have you screeching in excitement, and others leave you a little disoriented. There are times I am very confused and concerned about where this song is going, and by the end, I just don't know where I am, but I do know I feel excited! I can climb mountains, but I don't know exactly how! I am confused, but I am actually kind of okay with that! Check out the music video:

순종: There's a song that reminds me of this one, and I can't remember what it was. It's older, but a classic. That's going to bug me...any suggestions? I'm not sure this one will ever become a "classic," but it certainly feels like a song that's been around for a while. That's not necessarily a bad thing--nostalgia is a powerful emotion, but sometimes it can be overpowering. Like now, I'm trying to pinpoint what song this sounds like instead of purely enjoying this one. Also, for a rock song, her vocals aren't heavy enough. I probably would have layered a lower octave of the chorus under her main vocals, because it feels a little treble-heavy at times. Her voice is strong, but it's a little too high for this kind of song at times. This one also reminds me of anime music. Or a drama. Something.

빈말: This song is pretty. It's a ballad, and as she has shown in the past few songs, she has strong vocals. However, for the most part, it sounds like a lot of ballads I have heard over the years. In fact, it sounds more like a drama ballad song than an official album ballad. There's nothing wrong with it per se, it's just a song I've heard before. Nothing overly extraordinary. I wish it was though.

Overall: A strong mini-album. She has strong vocals, and she isn't afraid to use them. She's been in this industry for a while, so I suspect she has a particular sound she sticks to in some way. Hopefully this mini-album fits that sound, because as a standalone mini-album, it's a pretty good one to gain fans.

Score: 3.8/5
